With Billions set to return on Sky Atlantic in late February, and on Showtime in America (Feb 19), the US network has dropped this brand new trailer, and it seems, things are definitely changing…
If you missed Season 1 of Billions, the show follows Damian Lewis as shady hedge fund manager Bobby ‘Axe’ Axelrod, and Paul Giamatti as District U.S. Attorney Chuck Rhoades, who’s not afraid to pull his own underhand tricks to capture Axe in some nefarious deal.
As you can see from the trailer, Season 2 sees Axe going on the attack, using his considerable resources to exact revenge on the machiavellian U.S. Attorney. This season looks to be turning the tables… Season 1 saw Axe Capital nearly destroyed by Rhoades’ attacks, but this season it’s Chuck who is fighting to save his job.
