The 100 Season 4 Gets April UK Air Date On E4

The 100 will arrive for it’s 4th Season on the 5th April at 9pm in the UK E4 have announced. The first episode of the post-apocalyptic US drama sees Clarke (Eliza Taylor) and her friends struggle to make a decision on how to proceed after learning about the terrible fate that awaits the world, and the people of Polis mourn their dead.

If you remember, when we left the group, Clarke had taken a black Nightblood transfusion from a dying Ontari (Rhiannon Fish) to allow her to be implanted with the ‘Flame’. She then took the chip into the City Of Light, and with the help of Lexa’s (Alycia Debnam-Carey) spirit and Raven’s (Lindsey Morgan) hacking manages to destroy ALIE. But ALIE has one last warning that number of abandoned nuclear power plants around the world that are melting down and releasing radiation, which will make Earth uninhabitable within 6 months. Was she lying, or are they in for a very toxic, and deadly future?… And if they are, will all the factions manage to put their differences aside, and come together to find a solution.

The show was created by Jason Rothenberg, who also has a pilot for a new series called Searchers in the works at The CW. Should that get picked up, it may mean Rothenberg hands off The 100, or shares the showrunning with a partner for Season 5. In the new show, Alex McGregor (Of Kings and Prophets) and Zane Holtz (From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series) star as Fable & Cooper, a brother and sister who, 10yrs after the death of their mother, discover the terrifying and crazy stories she told them as children might actually be a roadmap to discovering the great legends, myths and unexplainable mysteries of the world.

The 100 will arrive on E4 for it’s 4th Season on the 5th April at 9pm.
