‘Chicago Fire’ Season 5 Gets July UK Air Date On Sky Living
The firefighters, rescue squad members, and paramedics of Firehouse 51 are back, as ‘Chicago Fire‘ returns to Sky Living from Tuesday, 11th July 2017 at 9pm.
In the new season, firehouse Lt. Matt Casey (Jesse Spencer) and Gabriela Dawson (Monica Raymund) work to build a safe home for their growing family, even as their life-saving jobs demand their full attention. Rescue Squad Lt. Kelly Severide (Taylor Kinney) risks it all – and faces the consequences – while the crew confronts monumental changes.
‘Chicago Fire’, the daddy show of Dick Wolf’s ‘Chicago’ franchise, has already been renewed for a 6th Season, along with ‘Chicago PD‘, which picked up a 5th Season, and ‘Chicago Med‘ which landed a 3rd. Unfortunately, newcomer ‘Chicago Justice’ failed to make the cut and was dropped after 1 season.
Unlike in the US, where all the shows air on NBC, on this side of the pond, the franchise is scattered across Sky Living, Universal and 5USA, who have no interest in helping fans out by lining up the season crossovers. However, I think more as a happy accident than anything else, ‘Chicago PD’ is also returning next month, on Thursday, 6th July 2017 at 9pm, so they are at least close together this year, even if not in perfect sync.
