Netflix Sets UK Air Date For ‘Riverdale’ Season 2
Archie, Jughead, Betty, Veronica & Cheryl will return on the Thursday, 12th October 2017, as Netflix sets a UK premiere date for the arrival of ‘Riverdale‘ Season 2.
For those of you that haven’t caught this brilliant series yet, it’s from Flash/Arrow’s Greg Berlanti and is a dark, twisted, take on the Archie comic books. These are not you happy-go-lucky innocent teens. There’s sex, drugs, and murder in the small town of Riverdale, as the teens work their way through various traumas, both in and out of high school.
Although Season 1 resolved the mystery of who kill Jason Blossom, it left a whole bunch of strands out there ready to be pulled in Season 2. As we left things, Cheryl’s house was on fire, Hiram Lodge was heading back into town, and Archie’s father, Fred, was lying in a pool of blood in Pop’s Diner! Given the first episode is called apparently called “A Kiss Before Dying”, that doesn’t bode too well…
