Great Forking News! ‘The Good Place’ Is Renewed For Season 3!
Great forking news! NBC has renewed the brilliant comedy ‘The Good Place‘ for its 3rd season the US network announced this week.
The show, which has recently started streaming on Netflix UK, stars Kristen Bell (‘House of Lies’, ‘Veronica Mars’) as Eleanor Shellstrop, an ordinary woman who enters the afterlife and, thanks to some kind of error, is sent to the Good Place instead of the Bad Place, which is definitely where she belongs.
While hiding in plain sight from Michael (Ted Danson – ‘CSI’, ‘Cheers’), the wise architect of the Good Place (who doesn’t know he’s made a mistake), she’s determined to shed her old way of living and discover the awesome (or, at least, the pretty good) person within. William Jackson Harper, Jameela Jamil, Manny Jacinto and D’Arcy Carden also star.
If any of you have been listening to Geektown Radio recently (you should, it’s really rather good), you’ll know how much we love this show at Geektown. It’s one of the most original comedies to come out of the US in a very long time. Not only hilariously funny, but also has some wonderful twists, and dark, surreal humour.
‘The Good Place‘ Season 1 and Season 2, part 1, are all on Netflix UK for your viewing enjoyment. Season 2, part 2, is due to arrive weekly from Friday, 5th January 2018.
