Sky 1 Sets UK Premiere Date For ‘The Blacklist’ Season 5

Sky has finally set the UK premiere date for The Blacklist‘ Season 5, which will see Liz and Red return to our screens, Tuesday, 2nd January 2018 at 9pm on Sky One.

Last season’s finale spilled the beans and answered a question fans of The Blacklist have been asking for years: who is Liz’s dad? But as season 5 begins, it’s clear it’s still not going to be plain sailing for Liz. Discovering who her father hasn’t given Liz closure, but it has left her with some frightening things to work out.

Having been destroyed by Mr Kaplan, Red (James Spader) is penniless and the criminal empire he’s spent most of his life building is in tatters, yet he seems strangely carefree. He turns to Liz (Megan Boone) with an unlikely plan that could both earn him some cash and deliver a new Blacklister to the task force. Meanwhile, Tom (Ryan Eggold, who rejoins the main show after his jaunt in the cancelled spin-off) is forced to weigh up his options. Mr Kaplan has left him with a suitcase full of mysterious bones… and that puts him in quite the predicament…

The Blacklist‘ Season 5 comes to Sky One from Tuesday, 2nd January 2018 at 9pm.
