‘Brooklyn Nine-Nine’ Season 5 Premieres On E4 In March With Double Bill

March is turning into a busy TV month, as E4 announce Brooklyn Nine-Nine‘ Season 5 will premiere with a double bill.

The multi-award winning comedy from ‘Parks and Rec’ writer/producers Dan Goor and Michael Schur follows the detectives at the NYPD’s 99th precinct.

As the 5th series begins, Peralta (Andy Samberg) and Diaz (Stephanie Beatriz) adjust to their new lives behind bars but are coping in very different ways. Peralta bonds with his cellmate Caleb (guest star Tim Meadows), but is forced to join a prison gang led by notorious inmate Romero (guest star Lou Diamond Phillips) to gain his protection.

In the women’s prison, Diaz puts her visitors, Captain Holt (Andre Braugher) and Sergeant Jeffords (Terry Crews), to the test by making them complete outrageous lists of chores for her. Meanwhile, back at the precinct, Santiago (Melissa Fumero) and Boyle (Joe Lo Truglio) are doing everything they can to get their jailed colleagues exonerated.

Guest stars this season include The West Wing’s Bradley Whitford, Katey Sagal (‘Sons of Anarchy’), Jimmy Smits (‘Sons of Anarchy’, ‘Dexter’, ‘How To Get Away With Murder’), and the legend that is Danny Trejo (‘The Flash’, ‘Breaking Bad’).

Brooklyn Nine-Nine‘ Season 5 comes to E4 from Thursday, 8th March 2018 at 9pm, with the 2nd episode airing at 9:30pm.
