‘Atlanta’ Robbin’ Season (Season 2) Gets June UK Premiere Date On Fox UK
Fox UK has announced Season 2 of Donald Glover’s brilliant ‘Atlanta‘ will return to the channel in June 2018.
Starring and created by Donald Glover, Atlanta revolves around Earnest “Earn” Marks (Glover – ‘Community’, ‘The Martian’), a loner who returns to his hometown of Atlanta after dropping out of Princeton. Upon his arrival, he discovers his cousin “Alfred Miles” (Brian Tyree Henry – ‘Boardwalk Empire’) has become Atlanta’s hottest new rap act.
In Atlanta Robbin’ Season, the two cousins work through the Atlanta music scene in order to better their lives and the lives of their families. Earn Marks is a young manager trying to get his cousin’s career off the ground. Alfred Miles is a new hot rapper trying to understand the line between real life and street life. Darius (Lakeith Lee Stanfield – ‘Get Out’, ‘Death Note’) is Alfred’s right-hand man and visionary. Van (Zazie Beetz – ‘Easy’, ‘Deadpool 2’) is Earn’s best friend and the mother of Earn’s daughter.
The 1st season of ‘Atlanta’ launched to universal critical acclaim from the press and fans alike. The series went on to win 2 Emmy Awards as well as 2 Golden Globes and an AFI, Peabody, PGA, WGA, TCA, NAACP & Critics’ Choice Award.
Donald Glover serves as Executive Producer, along with Paul Simms, Dianne McGunigle and Stephen Glover. Atlanta is produced by FX Productions.
‘Atlanta Season 2: Robbin’ Season‘ will premiere with a double bill on FOX UK from Sunday, 17th June 2018 at 10pm.
