Danielle Nicolet Upped To Series Regular On ‘The Flash’ Season 5
It looks like we’ll be seeing a lot more of Cecile when ‘The Flash‘ returns for Season 5 in the Autumn. Actress Danielle Nicolet has been promoted to series regular status in the speedster show.
Nicolet first popped up as Central City district attorney Cecile Horton way back in Season 1, but then went missing for a season when the actress’s other work commitments made her unavailable. She returned in Season 3 as a recurring character and became girlfriend to Joe West (Jesse L. Martin) which resulted in a pregnancy, and some cool, but slightly annoying, mind-reading powers!
Given Joe & Cecile’s new arrival, it makes sense that Cecile will be around a lot more next season. The other new(ish) arrival is Jessica Parker Kennedy, aka *season 4 spoilers* ‘Baby Flash’, Nora West-Allen, the time-travelling daughter of Barry and Iris, who will also be a series regular for Season 5.
