E4 Picks Up Free-To-Air Rights For ‘Fear The Walking Dead’ Season 1

Thanks to E4, everyone can now enjoy the zombie-fest that is ‘Fear The Walking Dead‘, as the channel brings the ‘Walking Dead’ spin-off free-to-air in the UK for the first time!

‘Fear the Walking Dead’ is a gritty drama that explores the onset of the undead apocalypse through the lens of a fractured family. Set in a city where people come to escape, shield secrets, and bury their pasts, a mysterious outbreak threatens to disrupt what little stability high school guidance counsellor Madison Clark (Kim Dickens) and English teacher Travis Manawa (Cliff Curtis) have managed to assemble.

The everyday pressure of blending two families while dealing with resentful, escapist, and strung out children takes a back seat when society begins to break down. A forced evolution, a necessary survival of the fittest takes hold, and our dysfunctional family must either reinvent themselves or embrace their darker histories.

Season 1 of ‘Fear the Walking Dead’ also stars Frank Dillane as Nick and Alycia Debnam-Carey as Alicia, Madison’s children, and Colman Domingo as Victor Strand.

E4 hasn’t set an air date yet for ‘Fear The Walking Dead‘ Season 1, but expect it to pop up on the channel at some point in the next couple of months. We’ll let you know an exact date when they have it confirmed.
