YouTube has released the first trailer for ‘Origin‘, a brand new space sci-fi coming to their YouTube Premium service in Autumn 2018.
‘Origin’ follows a group of troubled passengers as they wake up on a damaged spaceship abandoned in deep space. Each having left behind a dark past in search of a fresh start on a newly colonised planet, they’re desperate to survive at all costs. But as their terrifying situation spirals into paranoia, they come to realize that the greatest threat to their dream of starting over – and indeed their lives – might actually be within their midst…
The series is led by Tom Felton (‘The Flash’, ‘Harry Potter’) and Natalia Tena (‘Game Of Thrones’, ‘Harry Potter’), who are joined by German actor Philipp Christopher (‘Gute Zeiten, schlechte Zeiten’), Nora Arnezeder (‘Zoo’, ‘Mozart in the Jungle’), Fraser James (‘Holby City’), Madalyn Horcher (‘Gracepoint), Belén Fabra (‘Imperium’, ‘Zoo’), Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson (‘Game Of Thrones’), Jamie Quinn (‘Bluestone 42’) and Nina Wadia (‘Still Open All Hours’, ‘EastEnders’).
The show comes from Left Bank Pictures and Sony Pictures Television, the people behind ‘The Crown’ & ‘Lost’, and is directed by Paul W. S. Anderson (‘Event Horizon’, ‘Resident Evil: The Final Chapter’).
‘Origin‘ comes to YouTube Premiere in Autumn 2018.
