Barry and Team Flash return for their 5th Season, along with new arrival, Jessica Parker Kennedy, Nora, or as she says in the trailer, XS… Although we still prefer the moniker ‘Baby Flash’. The trailer also reveals this season’s “big bad”, played by ‘American Pie’ star Chris Klein. He will be playing Cicada, who, according to the show’s character description, is “a grizzled, blue-collar everyman whose family has been torn apart by metahumans, Cicada now seeks to exterminate the epidemic – one metahuman at a time.”

Arrow, Season 7

‘Arrow’ is going through a number of changes when it returns for Season 7. There’s a new showrunner behind the cameras as Beth Schwartz replaces Wendy Mericle and Marc Guggenheim. On screen, Oliver came out publicly as Green Arrow, but ended up in prison after handing himself into the FBI to save his team. Now he finds himself in lockup with a group of people he helped put there.

As has been previously announced, Colton Haynes is returning as Roy Harper, although Haynes commented in the SDCC panel “He’s not the same person… Beth is a genius, and she wrote me a version of the character that is so special. It’s going to be hard for me to do, but I’m so excited to do it.” Kirk Acevedo also returns as Ricardo Diaz, who has recruited a deadly group of assassins knowns as The Longbow Hunters. They include Red Dart (Holly Elissa), Kodiak (Michael Jonsson), and Silencer (Miranda Edwards).

‘Supergirl’ returns for it’s 4th Season and the trailer above gives us our first tease of Sam Witwer as new “big bad”, Agent Liberty. He is the charismatic, but ruthless and terrifying founder of “human-first” hate group, Children of Liberty. He is a brilliant orator in the guise of a family man” and the scariest thing about him is how easily he can convince people that he’s right.

They also announced the casting of transgender actor Nicole Maines, who joins the show as transgender superhero Dreamer, aka Nia Nal, who joins CatCo as a new reporter. “She’s so wide-eyed, she’s happy to be there,” commented exec producer Jessica Queller. “She has this ferocious drive to protect people and to stand up against discrimination.”

Legends Of Tomorrow, Season 4

The wonderfully funny and action-packed ‘Legends Of Tomorrow’ returns for Season 4, and there are a few changes aboard the Waverider. We already know Matt Ryan’s John Constantine is taking one of those seats, and Jes Macallan has been upped to series regular as Time Bureau agent Ava Sharpe. In addition to those two, Ramona Young (‘Blockers’, ‘Santa Clarita Diet’) will take the role of Alaska Yu, whilst Tom Wilson (‘The Informant’) joins as Nate’s father, Hank Heywood. We also know that Courtney Ford is returning as a series regular in the role of Nora Darhk.

One interesting new bit of info to come from the panel was the return of Maisie Richardson-Sellers, but not as Amaya/Vixen, who left to rejoin her tribe in Zambesi. The actress will be playing a “rebel trickster” named Charlie, who originates from a different dimension…

The new season promises to take us to Woodstock, as you can see in the trailer. They are also going to cross paths with The Beatles in the ’60s, as the battle various magical creatures from myths, fairy tales, and legends who were released when the Legends defeating the demon Mallus… by cuddling him to death with a giant stuffed animal named Beebo.
