Syfy UK Sets September Premiere Date For Hulu Time Travel Comedy ‘Future Man’

Syfy UK has set a September premiere date for Future Man from Executive Producers Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg.

‘Future Man’ follows janitor by day/world-ranked gamer by night, Josh Futturman. Stuck in his dead-end job his one enjoyable outlet is playing Biotic Wars – an unbeatable videogame the rest of the world has given up on. But when Josh beats the game, mysterious visitors from the future appear. The world is in danger from an imminent super-race invasion, and Josh is the only one who can save it.

Josh Hutcherson (‘The Hunger Games’, ‘The Kids Are Alright’) stars as Josh Futterman, an uninspired and dejected gamer who quickly becomes earth’s unlikely hero. Eliza Coupe (‘Happy Endings’), Derek Wilson (‘Preacher’), Ed Begley Jr. (‘St. Elsewhere’) and Glenne Headly (‘Don Jon’) also star.

The series comes from Ariel Shaffir and Kyle Hunter (‘Sausage Party’) with Rogen & Goldberg exec producing. Ben Karlin (‘Modern Family’, ‘The Daily Show’) serves as showrunner and exec producer. The show has already been renewed for a 2nd Season by Hulu.

Future Man‘ premieres on Syfy UK from Monday, 10th September 2018 at 10pm, and will start with a double bill.
