Amazon Releases Full Trailer For ‘The Romanoffs’ Coming In Sept From Creators Of ‘Mad Men’

Amazon Prime Video has released the key art and official series trailer for the original contemporary anthology series, The Romanoffs, created, written, directed and executive produced by ‘Mad Men’s’ nine-time Emmy award winner, Matthew Weiner.

The Romanoffs featuring eight separate stories about people who believe themselves to be descendants of the Russian royal family. Set in seven countries around the globe, the series was shot on location in three continents collaborating with local productions and creative talent across Europe, the Americas, and the Far East. Each story takes place in a new location with a new cast.

The entire cast for the show is so ridiculously stuffed full of A-list names, it’s stupidly impressive. The first episode, ‘The Violet Hour’ stars Marthe Keller, Aaron Eckhart, Ines Melab and Louise Bourgoin and is set in Paris, where an ancestral home holds the key to a family’s future. The second episode, titled ‘The Royal We’, stars Corey Stoll, Kerry Bishe, Janet Montgomery and Noah Wyle, and follows a couple who find their own temptations when their marriage in a rut.

The first 2 episodes of ‘The Romanoffs‘ will premiere on Friday, 12th October 2018 with new episodes released weekly, on Fridays. The show will be available initially in the original version in over 200 countries and territories, with dubbed foreign language versions coming in early 2019.
