‘Daredevil‘ Season 3 has been teased for a number of months now, but Netflix has finally released a premiere date, and we will be seeing Charlie Cox return as Matt Murdock this October.
Blinded as a young boy but imbued with extraordinary senses, Matt Murdock fights against injustice by day as a lawyer, and by night as the superhero ‘Daredevil’ in modern day Hell’s Kitchen, New York City.
However, things have not been going well for old Matty recently. His business partner Foggy Nelson (Elden Henson) has left him. His on/off love interest, Elektra, has been killed… twice… He was attacked by a gang of ninjas. Then he was buried under a building and, up until now, was presumed dead.
Whilst Netflix has released very little in terms of the story behind the upcoming season, it would seem to be taking inspiration from the classic ‘Born Again’ comic book run. We do know that Wilson Fisk (Vincent D’Onofrio), who features heavily in that comic book storyline, will also be returning to the tv show this season. Deborah Ann Woll is also set to return as Karen Page.
