‘Young Sheldon’ Season 2 Gets UK TV Premiere On E4 In November

Whilst old Sheldon might be on his final season, Young Sheldon will be back for Season 2 this November on E4 in the UK.

The show follows nine-year-old Sheldon Cooper (Iain Armitage) as he struggles with growing up in East Texas. Possessing a once-in-a-generation mind capable of advanced mathematics and science isn’t always helpful in a land where church and football are kings. And, while the vulnerable, gifted and naive Sheldon deals with the world, his family must find a way to deal with him.

Alongside Armitage, the series stars Zoe Perry as Sheldon’s mother, Mary (Perry also being the real-life daughter of Laurie Metcalf, who plays Mary in the main series.) Lance Barber stars as father George, whilst Montana Jordan plays older brother Georgie, and Raegan Revord rounds out the family as twin sister Missy.

In the first episode of season 2, titled ‘A High-Pitched Buzz and Training Wheels’, Sheldon dismantles the refrigerator to stop it making an annoying humming noise and is then forced to get a paper round to pay for the repairs to the damaged appliance.

Young Sheldon‘ Season 2 premieres Thursday, 8th November 2018 at 8.30pm on E4.
