Netflix Teases The Episode Titles For ‘Stranger Things’ Season 3 In New Trailer

by Dave Elliott

Netflix released a new teaser for Stranger Things‘ Season 3 last night, and whilst it doesn’t give away any new footage, it does tease the titles of the upcoming episodes.

A love letter to the ’80s classics that captivated a generation, ‘Stranger Things’ is set in 1980’s Indiana and follows the adventures of Will Byers (Noah Schnapp), Mike Wheeler (Finn Wolfhard), Lucas Sinclair (Caleb McLaughlin), and Dustin Henderson (Gaten Matarazzo) as the navigate life in small town America. Along with their best friend, the psychokinetic Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown), and older siblings Jonathan (Charlie Heaton), Steve (Joe Keery) and Nancy (Natalia Dyer), they deal with whatever life throws at them… which in their case, includes the Demogorgon, which has been terrorising the town of Hawkins from his home in the “Upside Down”.

The titles for Season 3 include:

  • Suzie, Do You Copy?
  • The Mall Rats
  • The Case of The Missing Lifeguard
  • The Sauna Test
  • The Source
  • The Birthday
  • The Bite
  • The Battle of Starcourt

That last title is a reference to a new Season 3 location, the Starcourt Mall, where Steve works at the “Scoops Ahoy Ice Cream” shop with newcomer Robin, played by Maya Hawke (Little Women’, ‘Ladyworld’). The new mall seems to be the central location for this season’s action, and is described as “one of the finest shopping facilities in America and beyond with options for the entire family.” I rather suspect the description will be somewhat different once Season 3 is done with it…

Season 3 will also see the return of Winona Ryder as Joyce Byers, Will’s long suffering mother, and David Harbour as Jim Hopper, chief of Hawkins Police Department. Other newcomers include Cary Elwes as Hawkins slick and sleazy Mayor, and Jake Busey as a journalist for the The Hawkins Post, with questionable morals and a sick sense of humour.

Netflix hasn’t released a premiere date for Stranger Things‘ Season 3 yet, but we believe it will drop in Summer 2019.
