E4 Sets April UK Premiere Date For ‘Timeless’ Finale
Good news UK Clockblockers! E4 has finally got round to scheduling the ‘Timeless‘ finale, which will see the show conclude this April.
From Eric Kripke (‘Revolution’, ‘Supernatural’) and Shawn Ryan (‘The Shield’), ‘Timeless’ is an action-adventure series which sees an unorthodox team consisting of scientist/engineer Rufus Carlin (Malcolm Barrett – ‘Better Off Ted’), Delta Force Master Sergeant Wyatt Logan (Matt Lanter – ‘90210’, ‘Star Wars: The Clone Wars’) and history professor Lucy Preston (Abigail Spencer – ‘Suits’, ‘Mad Men’) using a time-machine prototype to stop a global conspiracy.
In the show’s season 2 finale we saw *SPOILER WARNING* Rufus be killed during a mission to 1888. When the crew return home to mourn their loss, a future version of Lucy and Wyatt arrive in an upgraded lifeboat inviting the present-day team to save their fallen comrade.
As we head into the 2-part finale, Christmas arrives in the Bunker, and the Time Team is inspired by a visit from their future selves to find a way to try to save Rufus. But when the Mothership jumps to 1848 California, they’re forced to put those plans on hold and chase Rittenhouse back to the Gold Rush, where they encounter one of the era’s most dangerous villains. Then chasing the Mothership to Korea in the winter of 1950, our team helps a stranded, pregnant refugee attempt to escape a tragic fate. Stuck with no way out, our team faces its toughest challenge yet, and in the process, come to terms with their feelings for each other.
The ‘Timeless‘ finale will air in 2-parts. Part 1 will premiere Tuesday, 23rd April 2019 at 10pm, with part 2 airing the following Tuesday (30th April).
