E4 Sets October UK Premiere Date For ‘Young Sheldon’ Season 3

‘The Big Bang Theory’ may be gone, but Young Sheldon is still around, and E4 has set an October premiere date for Season 3.

The comedy follows nine-year-old Sheldon Cooper (Iain Armitage) as he struggles with growing up in East Texas. Possessing a once-in-a-generation mind capable of advanced mathematics and science isn’t always helpful in a land where church and football are kings. And, while the vulnerable, gifted and naive Sheldon deals with the world, his family must find a way to deal with him.

Alongside Armitage, the series stars Zoe Perry as Sheldon’s mother, Mary (Perry also being the real-life daughter of Laurie Metcalf, who played Mary in the main series.) Lance Barber stars as father George, whilst Montana Jordan plays older brother Georgie, and Raegan Revord rounds out the family as twin sister Missy.

As we head into Season 3, Dr Sturgis has a nervous breakdown, which leads Mary to worry that Sheldon is heading down a similar path. Meanwhile, Georgie discovers he has a knack for sales…

Young Sheldon‘ Season 3 premieres Thursday, 10th October at 8.30pm on E4 in the UK.
