New Series ‘Dave Gorman: Terms & Conditions Apply’ Premieres This October On Dave
Dave Gorman returns with a brand new series as ‘Dave Gorman: Terms & Conditions Apply‘ premieres this October on Dave (appropriately).
In his new show, Dave will be inviting three of the country’s finest comic minds to help him make sense of an increasingly insensible world. Using his trademark, PowerPoint-comedy and a series of mischievous games, he’ll try to find out if any of them can make sense of the nonsense. Once again Dave will be bringing his trusty screen along but now, in each episode, his three guests will have their wits put to the test as they cast their eye over his latest modern world discoveries, and generally try to unscramble the baffling morass of nonstop information that surrounds us in the internet age.
“I’m delighted to be getting the band back together and making another show for Dave,” commented Gorman. “I’m still trying to navigate my way through the bombardment of non-stop information… but hopefully, this show will prove I’m far from alone in finding it all quite so baffling.”
The guest lined up to appear on the series include Jimmy Carr, Katherine Ryan, Cariad Lloyd, David O’Doherty, Rose Matafeo, Desiree Burch and Jessica Knappett. In the first episode, titled “Buy, Chew, Swallow, Poo, Repeat”, Dave is joined by Richard Osman, Phil Wang and Sara Barron, as they take a deep dive into the details we usually miss.
The series is produced by Avalon, commissioned for UKTV by Iain Coyle, head of comedy and entertainment, and ordered by Richard Watsham, director of commissioning and Luke Hales, Dave channel director. ‘Dave Gorman: Terms and Conditions Apply’ is directed by Paul Wheeler and series produced by James Fidler.
