E4 Sets March UK Premiere Date For ‘Brooklyn Nine-Nine’ Season 7

E4 has set a March UK premiere date for Brooklyn Nine-Nine Season 7 the broadcaster has announced.

Created by the ‘Parks and Rec’ pairing of Dan Goor and Michael Schur ‘Brooklyn Nine-Nine’ stars Andy Samberg as Det. Jake Peralta, a talented but carefree detective at Brooklyn’s 99th Precinct. Andre Braugher plays Holt, captain of the precinct, whilst Terry Crews plays Holt’s next-in-command – a muscle-bound human mountain who loves nothing more than his three little daughters, except for a fresh carton of full-fat yoghurt.

As we head into the 7th Season, Jake (Samberg) leads a manhunt after an assassination attempt on a city councillor. Meanwhile, Holt (Braugher) adjusts to his new position as a uniformed officer.

Since NBC made the smart decision of rescuing the show from cancellation by Fox in 2018, it has been going from strength-to-strength in its new home, prompting the US network to renew it for an 8th Season back in November last year.  It first debuted in September 2013 the series has gone on to win armfuls of accolades including Golden Globes, Emmys, and Critics’ Choice Television Awards.

Creators Dan Goor and Mike Schur serve as executive produce with David Miner and Luke Del Tredici. The series is produced by Universal Television, a division of NBCUniversal Content Studios, Fremulon, Dr. Goor Productions and 3 Arts Entertainment.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine‘ Season 7 premieres Thursday, 26th March 2020 at 9pm on E4 in the UK.
