Sky Comedy Sets July UK Premiere Date For ‘Miracle Workers: The Dark Ages’ (aka Season 2)

Miracle Workers: The Dark Ages (aka Season 2) has landed a July premiere date on Sky Comedy it has been announced.

Created by Simon Rich and executive produced by Lorne Michaels, the second season of the anthology series sees Daniel Radcliffe, Steve Buscemi and the rest of the cast reunited in a new medieval story about friendship, family… and trying not to be murdered.

‘Miracle Workers: Dark Ages’ centres upon a group of medieval villagers trying to stay positive in an age of extreme income inequality, poor healthcare, and widespread ignorance. This 10-episode instalment features Radcliffe, Buscemi, Geraldine Viswanathan, Karan Soni, Jon Bass, and Lolly Adefope returning in new roles and facing new challenges.

The first season of ‘Miracle Workers’, based on Rich’s book, What in God’s Name, was a huge hit for US channel TBS, ranking as 2019’s No. 1 new cable comedy reaching more than 26 million viewers across linear, VOD, and digital platforms. That season saw Radcliffe playing Craig, a low-level angel responsible for handling all of humanity’s prayers. Steve Buscemi played Craig’s boss… aka God… who had pretty much checked out to focus on petty hobbies.

‘Miracle Workers: Dark Ages’ is executive produced by Lorne Michaels’ Broadway Video with Andrew Singer and Katy Jenson executive producing alongside Rich, Radcliffe and Buscemi.

Miracle Workers: The Dark Ages‘ (aka Season 2) premieres Monday, 13th July 2020 at 9pm on Sky Comedy.
