Netflix has released a trailer for upcoming action-comedy ‘Teenage Bounty Hunters‘, from the people behind ‘Orange Is The New Black’ & ‘Glow’, which premieres 14th August 2020 on the streaming service.
Rebelling against their buttoned-up Southern community, sixteen-year-old fraternal twin sisters Sterling (Maddie Phillips – ‘Ghost Wars’) and Blair (Anjelica Bette Fellini – ‘The Gifted’) Wesley team up with veteran bounty hunter Bowser Jenkins (Kadeem Hardison – ‘Black Monday’) for an over-the-top adventure as they dive into the world of bail skipping baddies and suburban secrets while trying to navigate high school drama – love, sex, and study hall.
The series also stars Myles Evans, Spencer House, Devon Hales, Virginia Williams, Mackenzie Astin, Shirley Rumierk and Cliff Smith.
‘Teenage Bounty Hunters’ is created by Kathleen Jordan (‘American Princess’) who also wrote and co-executive produced the show. ‘OITNB’ and ‘Glow’ producers Jenji Kohan & Tara Herrmann executive produce, alongside Robert Sudduth (‘American Princess’, ‘The Real O’Neals’) and Blake McCormick (‘Single Parents’, ‘Ghosted’). The first episode directed and executive produced by Jesse Peretz (‘Glow’, ‘Girls’).
