Amazon Renews ‘Hunters’ For Season 2

Amazon has renewed Nazi-hunting drama Hunters for a 2nd Season the streaming service has announced.

Created by David Weil, executive produced by Academy Award-winner Jordan Peele (‘Get Out’), ‘Hunters’ follows a diverse band of Nazi hunters living in 1977 New York City. The Hunters, as they’re known, have discovered that hundreds of high-ranking Nazi officials are living among us and conspiring to create a Fourth Reich in the U.S. The eclectic team of Hunters will set out on a bloody quest to bring the Nazis to justice and thwart their new genocidal plans.

With a cast led by legendary Academy Award-winner Al Pacino (‘The Godfather’), season one also starred Logan Lerman (‘The Perks of Being A Wallflower’), Jerrika Hinton (‘The Roommate’), Josh Radnor (‘Liberal Arts’), Kate Mulvany (‘The Great Gatsby’), Tiffany Boone (‘Beautiful Creatures’), Greg Austin (‘Class’), Louis Ozawa Changchien (‘Kidding’), Carol Kane (‘Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt’), Saul Rubinek (‘Unforgiving’), Dylan Baker (‘Happiness’) and Lena Olin (‘Chocolat’).

“I am beyond grateful to Jen [Salke, Head of Amazon Studios] and the Amazon family for their continued extraordinary support of Hunters,” said Weil. “Alongside our magnificent cast, incredible crew, and brilliant writers and producers, I am more eager than ever to share the next chapter of the Hunters saga with the world.”

The series is produced by Amazon Studios, Peele’s Monkeypaw Productions and Sonar Entertainment, was created by Weil, who serves as executive producer and co-showrunner alongside executive producer Nikki Toscano. Alfonso Gomez-Rejon directed the pilot and is an executive producer. Other exec producers include Win Rosenfeld from Monkeypaw Productions, Nelson McCormick and Tom Lesinski from Sonar Entertainment.
