Geektown Radio 262: ‘Cursed’, ‘ Untitled Goose Game’ Reviews, TV News, Renewals & Cancellations, Plus UK TV Air Dates!

On the latest episode of the Geektown Radio podcast, I’m joined by Bex from TristaBytes as we melt in the sun to chat about our week in tv and film plus we have all the weekly tv news, renewals and cancellations.

Reviewing the last 7 days in tv, film and gaming, in between bouts of running away from Fluffy the Xenomorph, Bex has been honking at unsuspecting residents of a small village in the wonderfully bonkers Untitled Goose Game (aka “Metal Goose Solid”), so gives us her review of that. She has also finally finished ‘Good Omens’… I mean, it’s only taken 15 months since she was interviewing the cast on the red carpet to get around to it… Meanwhile, I have finished Netflix’s Arthurian legend drama ‘Cursed’, along with catching the new Quibi drama ‘The Fugitive’ starring Kiefer Sutherland & Boyd Holbrook.

In the TV news, we have the renewals, cancellations and pickups, along with news of a new ‘A League of Their Own’ series coming to Amazon (based on the film, not the Sky One quiz show!), Disney’s new “Star” international streaming service, and Comedy Central’s reboot of classic cartoon ‘Ren & Stimpy’.

On This Weeks Show:

  • I’m joined by Bex to review the movies, tv-series, and games we’ve been watching and playing over the past week.
  • We take a look at all the latest tv & film news, including all the renewals & cancellations.
  • We give you our recommendations for the upcoming TV in the next few weeks.
