Netflix has released a pile of “first look” photos and a poster for ‘The Haunting of Bly Manor‘, the second season of the streaming service’s ‘Haunting…” anthology series, which premieres in Autumn 2020.
Loosely based on the 1898 horror novella The Turn of the Screw by Henry James, ‘The Haunting of Bly Manor’ tells the story of a young governess hired by a man to look after his niece and nephew at the family country house after they fall into his care. Arriving at the Bly estate, she begins to see apparitions that proceed to haunt the premises.
Much like the ‘American Horror’ franchise, the anthology series will reunite the cast of ‘The Haunting of Hill House’, but with them playing entirely new roles. The returning cast includes Henry Thomas, Oliver Jackson-Cohen, Kate Siegel and Catherine Parker. They are joined this season by T’nai Miller, who most recently starred in Russell T. Davies’ dark drama ‘Years & Years’, alongside ‘iZombie’s Dr. Ravi Chakrabarti, Rahul Kohli. Other cast includes Benjamin Evan Ainsworth, Amelie Smith, and Amelia Eve.
Whilst we don’t have an exact premiere date yet for ‘The Haunting of Bly Manor‘, Netflix has said the horror-drama will air in Autumn (Fall) 2020 on the streaming service worldwide. In the meantime, check out the “first look” photos below.
