Geektown Radio 266: ‘The Boys’ & ‘Dark’ Reviews, TV News, Renewals & Cancellations, Plus UK TV Air Dates!

On this week’s episode of the Geektown Radio podcast, I’m joined by Darryl From Hollywood News Source for a chat through our week in tv, gaming & film, along with all the weekly tv news, renewals and cancellations.

Reviewing the last 7 days in tv Darryl has been catching up with German Netflix drama ‘Dark’, so gives us his thoughts on that. He’s also been trawling through the streaming services to dig out some interesting shows you may have missed, such as the procedural drama ‘Unforgettable’, and Candian crime drama ‘Intelligence’. We also have both been watching ‘The Boys’, which returned for Season 2, so we chat through that, whilst I give my thoughts on Qubi series ‘The Fugitive’, and episode one of new Netflix sci-fi drama ‘Away’.

In the TV news, we have all the usual renewals, cancellations and pickups, along with this week’s tv news and a list of the tv shows which have returned to filming, post-shutdown. Stories this week include a potential ‘Pretty Little Liars’ reboot from the creator of ‘Riverdale’, Netflix picking up ‘Three-Body Problem’ based on Liu Cixin’s renowned sci-fi novel trilogy, casting in Amazon’s ‘Jack Reacher’ series, and Zack Snyder’s upcoming zombie/action/heist film! Listen below!

On This Weeks Show:

  • I’m joined by Darryl to review the movies, tv-series, and games we’ve been watching and playing over the past week.
  • We take a look at all the latest tv & film news, including all the renewals & cancellations.
  • We give you our recommendations for the upcoming TV in the next few weeks.
