‘Will & Grace’ Season 10 Finally Gets UK TV Premiere On Comedy Central This Jan
‘Will & Grace‘ Season 10 (or Season 2 of the revival depending how you’re counting) has finally got a UK premiere date thanks to Comedy Central it has been announced.
Just over a decade after their unforgettable original eight-season run, ‘Will & Grace’ made a triumphant return a few years ago, with Debra Messing & Eric McCormack slipping easily back into the roles of gay lawyer Will Truman & straight interior designer Grace Adler, the two best friends who live (and now work) together. They were, of course, joined by the irrepressible duo of Megan Mullally and Sean Hayes as Jack McFarland and Karen Walker.
The 9th Season (or Season 1 of the revival) aired on Channel 5 back in January 2018, but they then opted not to pick up any more seasons after that, much to the frustration of UK fans. Now Comedy Central has stepped in the breach, two years later, to finish off the run, airing Season 10, and (presumably) the 11th and final season after that.
Season 10 opens with another familiar sitcom face, as Grace has an accidental run-in with Noah, played by ‘Friends’ star David Schwimmer, a curmudgeonly man she follows on Twitter, but the interaction hints at a possible new love interest. Meanwhile, Jack wants to look younger before meeting Estefan’s (Brian Jordan Alvarez) family on Skype but makes a terrible first impression after overdoing the numbing cream before his facial procedure, whilst Will helps Karen protect the intellectual property rights of her most prized possession.
Other guest stars this season include comedian Chelsea Handler, who will play a high-powered lesbian client of Grace’s who also happens to be dating Janet, Grace’s sister, played by Mary McCormack. Alec Baldwin is also set to return as Karen’s love interest, Malcolm Widmark.
‘Will & Grace‘ Season 10 premieres Thursday, 21st January 2021 at 8pm on Comedy Central UK with a double-bill.
