‘Private Eyes’: Sky Witness Sets February Premiere For 4th Season Of Canadian Crime Drama
Great news for fans of Canadian crime-solving! Sky Witness has announced the 4th Season of ‘Private Eyes‘ will premiere this February on the UK broadcaster.
For those new to the series, it follows former professional ice hockey player Matt “Shadow” Shade (Jason Priestly) who hangs up his skates and upends his life by teaming up with intense Private Investigator Angie Everett (Cindy Sampson) to solve cases in their hometown of Toronto. So, best enjoyed with some poutine?
In the opening episode of the season, Shade and Angie investigate the seemingly paranoid claims of a wealthy patriarch who believes that a series of accidents are attempts on his life by one of his many enemies.
The series originally aired on Universal in the UK, but vanished when Sky decided to shut down the channel following their acquisition by Comcast (who also own NBCUniversal). If you need to catch up (or just fancy refreshing your memory), Seasons 1 to 3 are now available on Sky and NOW TV On Demand.
‘Private Eyes‘ Season 4 premieres Thursday, 4th February 2021 on Sky Witness and NOW TV.

I have been trying to figure out how to watch season 3 and 4 in the US. My daughter loves that show and I usually watch it with her. Anyone know how to make that happen
Hi Dan, If you scroll down this page – https://www.geektown.co.uk/tvairdates/private-eyes/ – there is a section which says “Where To Watch Private Eyes” which should tell you if it’s available on any streaming services locally to you. 🙂
Surely it’s only a matter of time now before fellow Canadian series Burden of Truth is acquired by Sky Witness? Although with that series there is the third season still to be shown in the UK.
