‘Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous’ Season 3 Gets Trailer & May Premiere On Netflix

Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous Season 2 only launched in January this year, but it seems you can’t keep a good (or bad) dino down, as Netflix announces Season 3 will roar onto the streaming service this May.

Set against the timeline of the blockbuster film ‘Jurassic World’, ‘Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous’ follows a group of six teenagers trapped at a new adventure camp on the opposite side of Isla Nublar… Because a kids camp on an island filled with dinosaurs seems like a TOTALLY good idea… Although, completely “on brand” for the owners of the Jurassic Parks…

When the events of the film unfold and dinosaurs are unleashed across the island, each kid realises their very survival rests on the shoulders of themselves and their fellow campers. Unable to reach the outside world, our six teens will go from strangers to friends to family as they band together to survive the dinosaurs and uncover hidden secrets so deep they threaten the world itself.

Season one saw the kids dealing with rampaging dinosaurs, whilst season two had the group tangle with some big-game hunters. Plot details on the third season are being kept under wraps at the moment, but we do know it involves a sinister threat emerging on Isla Nublar, possibly relating to a new escaped hybrid, which was hinted at in the season two finale.

Voice cast for the series includes Paul-Mikél Williams as Darius, Jenna Ortega as Brooklynn, Ryan Potter as Kenji, Raini Rodriguez as Sammy, Sean Giambrone as Ben, Kausar Mohammed as Yaz, Jameela Jamil as Roxie, and Glen Powell as Dave.

Scott Kreamer (‘Pinky Malinky’) and Aaron Hammersley (‘Star vs. the Forces of Evil’) serve as showrunners and executive producers. The series is executive produced by Steven Spielberg, Colin Trevorrow, Frank Marshall, Kreamer, Hammersley and Lane Lueras. DreamWorks Animation are the animation studio, with Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment as production companies.

Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous‘ Season 3 premieres Friday, 21st May 2021 on Netflix UK and worldwide. You can watch Season 1 and 2 right now if you need to catch up!
