Alibi Picks Up ‘Whiskey Cavalier’, ‘Deception’ & ‘The Good Wife’ For The UK

If you were wondering where you’re going to get your fix of previously cancelled US TV now that FOX UK is closing down, Alibi has you covered, as they announced they have picked up Whiskey Cavalier starring TWD’s Lauren Cohan, and Greg Berlanti’s Deception, both of which was cancelled after one season, along with beloved series The Good Wife, which previously ran on More4.

‘Whiskey Cavalier’ is a high-octane, action dramedy that follows the adventures of tough but tender FBI super-agent Will Chase (code name: Whiskey Cavalier), played by Scott Foley (Scandal, Grey’s Anatomy). Following an emotional breakup, Chase is assigned to work with badass CIA operative Frankie Trowbridge, played by Lauren Cohan (The Walking Dead). Together, they lead an inter-agency team of flawed, funny and heroic spies who periodically save the world – and each other – while navigating the rocky roads of friendship, romance and office politics.

‘Deception’ stars Jack Cutmore-Scott (Tenet) as superstar magician Cameron Black. When his career is ruined by scandal, Black has only one place to turn to practice his art of deception, influence and illusion… the FBI. Using every trick in the book and inventing new ones, he will help the government catch the world’s most elusive criminals while staging the biggest illusions of his career.

‘The Good Wife’ is a sophisticated, multi-award-winning crime drama that stars Julianna Margulies as Alicia Florrick, a disgraced wife who returns to work as a lawyer after her husband, Peter Florrick (Chris Noth), is imprisoned following a sex and corruption scandal. The series previously aired on More4 in the UK.

Alibi hasn’t yet set exact premiere dates for these 3 shows, but ‘Whiskey Cavalier‘, ‘Deception‘ and ‘The Good Wife‘ are all set to air in the UK in July 2021.
