We are back with another Geektown Radio podcast, and I’m joined by film editor Gray to chat through our week in tv, film & gaming, along with all the weekly tv news, renewals and cancellations.
We begin by reviewing the last 7 days in tv, film and gaming. Gray gives us his film of the month for June (as he missed it last month) and for July. He’s also been catching up with the wonderful ‘Solar Opposites’, the second and final season of ‘Feel Good’, and the last season of ‘Kim’s Convenience’. Meanwhile, I have been working my way through ‘Manifest’ Season 3, which landed on Sky this week. We also both discuss the spectacular finale to Marvel series ‘Loki’ which ended this week on Disney+.
In the TV news, we run through the various renewals, cancellations and pickups, which includes NBC cancelling a new ‘Law & Order’ series before it had even shot an episode! In the news, we discuss ‘Charmed’ losing a sister, True Crime coming to Channel 4, AMC’s new sci-fi drama ‘Moonhaven’, and the return of ‘Never Mind the Buzzcocks’.
