Geektown Radio 306: ‘Fear Street Trilogy’, ‘Masters Of The Universe: Revelation’ Reviews, Renewals & Cancellations, UK TV Air Dates!

We are back with another Geektown Radio podcast, and I’m joined by Darryl Of HollywoodNorthNews.net to chat through our week in tv, film & gaming, along with all the weekly tv news, renewals and cancellations.

We begin by reviewing the last 7 days in tv, film and gaming. Darryl has been focusing on streaming films, so brings us a set of reviews. First up, the French Netflix movie ‘How I Became A Superhero’, followed by ‘Blood Red Sky’, also on Netflix, and the film ‘Escape Room’ over on Amazon Prime Video. He also reviews all three films in the ‘Fear Street Trilogy’, the horror movies which Netflix have been advertising everywhere! Meanwhile, I review Kevin Smith’s (somewhat controversial) ‘Masters Of The Universe: Revelation’ on Netflix, the opening of ‘War Of The Worlds’ Season 2, and the finale of ‘Manifest’ Season 3.

In the TV news, we run through the various renewals, cancellations and pickups, which includes a list of all the shows paused by COVID this week, and the possible return of ‘Manifest’. In the news, we discuss announcements from Comic-Con@Home, Amazon ordering another Neil Gaiman adaptation, and casting in the Arrowverse.

On This Weeks Show:

  • I’m joined by Darryl to review the movies, games, and tv shows we’ve been watching over the past week.
  • We take a look at all the latest tv & film news, including all the renewals & cancellations.
  • We give you our recommendations for the upcoming TV in the next few weeks.
