‘Impeachment: American Crime Story’ Gets October UK Premiere Date On BBC Two

American Crime Story returns for its third instalment to the UK, as BBC Two announces an October premiere date.

‘Impeachment: American Crime Story’ examines the national crisis that led to the first impeachment of a U.S. President in over a century through the eyes of the women at the centre of the events: Monica Lewinsky, Linda Tripp and Paula Jones. All three were thrust into the public spotlight during a time of corrosive partisan rancour, shifting sexual politics and a changing media landscape.

The cast for Season 3 includes Annaleigh Ashford as Paula Jones, Anthony Green as Al Gore, Beanie Feldstein as Monica Lewinsky, Billy Eichner as Matt Drudge, Clive Owen as Bill Clinton, Cobie Smulders as Ann Coulter, Edie Falco as Hillary Clinton, Kathleen Turner as Susan Webber Wright, Margo Martindale as Lucianne Goldberg, Mira Sorvino as Marcia Lewis, and Sarah Paulson as Linda Tripp.

The 3rd instalment is written by Sarah Burgess who also exec produces alongside Ryan Murphy, Nina Jacobson, Brad Simpson, Brad Falchuk, Larry Karaszewski, Scott Alexander. Alexis Martin Woodall and Sarah Paulson. Monica Lewinsky serves as Producer. Henrietta Conrad and Jemima Khan will also serve as producers. The limited series is based on Jeffrey Toobin’s bestselling book ‘A Vast Conspiracy: The Real Story of the Sex Scandal That Nearly Brought Down a President’.

Impeachment: American Crime Story‘ premieres Tuesday 19th October 2021 at 9:15pm on BBC Two.
