‘Billions’: Season 6 Gets January UK Premiere Date On Sky Atlantic & NOW

by Dave Elliott

Sky has set a January UK premiere date for the return of Billions, as the drama begins a new chapter for Season 6 following that shocking season finale…

Last season saw the battle between shady hedge fund manager Bobby ‘Axe’ Axelrod (Damian Lewis) and Attorney General Chuck Rhoades (Paul Giamatti) come to a head, as Chuck teams up with business titan Mike Prince (Corey Stoll) to take down his foe once and for all. However, in the closing moments, Prince manoeuvres himself to take control of Axe Capital, screwing over Chuck and allowing Axe to escape arrest and flee to Switzerland.

As we head into Season 6, Prince takes his place on the Axe Capital throne, where he’s determined to change the game – and new money means no mercy. Meanwhile, Chuck is convinced no one should have that much wealth or that much power. With Prince firmly in Chuck’s crosshairs, forces will be rallied and scores will be settled.

All the players, from Wags (David Costabile) to Wendy (Maggie Siff), from Taylor (Asia Kate Dillon) to Sacker (Condola Rashad), and of course Senior (Jeffrey DeMunn), must sharpen their weapons and look for new alliances in order to survive. The ground is ever-shifting and the stakes absolute. New king, new war, new rules.

‘Billions’ is created and executive produced by showrunners Brian Koppelman and David Levien. The series was also created by Andrew Ross Sorkin.

Billions‘ Season 6 is set to premiere Monday, 24th January 2022 at 3.05am (with a repeat at 9pm) on Sky Atlantic, and on streaming service NOW in the UK. The drama premieres Sunday, January 23 at 9pm on Showtime in the USA.
