‘Murderville’: Netflix Releases Trailer Murder-Mystery Improv Comedy Starring Will Arnett, Premiering March

by Dave Elliott

Netflix has released a trailer for Murderville, a murder-mystery comedy improv series starring Will Arnett, and a bunch of celebrity guests.

Meet Senior Detective Terry Seattle (Will Arnett), Homicide Division. For Terry, every day means a new murder case and a new celebrity guest star as his partner. But here’s the catch: each episode’s guest star isn’t being given the script. They have no idea what’s about to happen to them. Together, the guest star and Terry Seattle will have to improvise their way through the case… but it will be up to each celebrity guest alone to name the killer. Join them as they punch a one-way ticket to Murderville.

Alongside Arnett (‘Arrested Development’, ‘BoJack Horseman’), the series stars Haneefah Wood (‘Baskets’, ‘Schooled’) as Chief Rhonda Jenkins-Seattle, Lilan Bowden (‘Andi Mack’) as Medical Examiner Amber Kang, and Philip Smithey (‘Johnson’) as Detective Darren ‘Daz’ Phillips.

Those guest stars joining each episode include Annie Murphy, Conan O’Brien, Ken Jeong, Kumail Nanjiani, Marshawn Lynch, Sharon Stone.

‘Murderville’ is based on the BAFTA award-winning BBC Three series ‘Murder in Successville’ by Tiger Aspect Productions and Shiny Button Productions. Will Arnett, Marc Forman, Jonathan Stern, Peter Principato, Brian Steinberg serve as exec producers. Krister Johnson is showrunner and also exec producer.

Murderville‘ Season 1 premieres Thursday, 3rd February 2022 on Netflix UK and worldwide.
