Geektown Radio 334: ‘Suspicion’, ‘The Forgotten City’ Reviews, Plus TV News & UK Air Dates!

The Geektown Radio podcast is back for another show, and this week Matt from Entertainment Talk returns to chat through the last seven days on UK TV, film, and gaming, alongside the usual TV news and UK TV air dates!

This week, Matt is sponsored by the letter “S”, thanks to Apple TV+ and their obsession with making shows that begin with that letter! He reviews ‘Servant’, ‘Severance’, and ‘Suspicion’, their latest thriller starring Kunal Nayyar, Elizabeth Henstridge, Lydia West, Noah Emmerich, Uma Thurman about a group of people who are accused of a kidnapping. Meanwhile, I talk through returning to the game ‘Two Point Hospital’ in preparation for their ‘Speedy Recovery’ DLC, along with playing through the brilliant Rome-set time-loop game ‘The Forgotten City’. I also review the ‘Marvelous Mrs Masiel’ finale, new BBC comedy ‘The Witchfinder’, and ‘Upload’ Season 2.

Over in the TV news, we run through the renewals, along with some cancellations and pickups. We chat about the trailers for ‘Obi-Wan’ and ‘Star Trek: Strange New Worlds’, casting on the ‘Quantum Leap’ pilot, more triple-A video games being made into TV shows, a new tv spin-off from ‘The Batman’ movie, and lots more!
