In a break from E4’s usual random “roll a six to start” scheduling, the UK broadcaster has announced ‘Rick and Morty‘ Season 6 will be simulcast with the US broadcast this September on both E4 and All4.
The award-winning half-hour animated hit comedy series follows a sociopathic genius scientist who drags his inherently timid grandson on insanely dangerous adventures across the universe. Rick Sanchez is living with his daughter Beth’s family and constantly bringing her, his son-in-law Jerry, granddaughter Summer, and grandson Morty into intergalactic escapades.
The promo image posted on social media for the announcement featured ‘Rick and Morty’ both with six packs, along with a caption describing the duo as “ripped and ready” for the new season.
‘Rick and Morty’ stars Justin Roiland (‘Solar Opposites’), Sarah Chalke (‘Firefly Lane’), Chris Parnell (‘Saturday Night Live’), and Spencer Grammer (‘Greek’). The series is created by Dan Harmon (‘Community’) and Roiland, who also serve as executive producers.
‘Rick and Morty‘ Season 6 premieres Monday, 5th September 2022 on E4 and All4 at 4am, simulcasting with the USA, so set your set-top boxes to record or catch up on All4. Episodes will also be repeated on Sundays at a more reasonable time.
