‘Resident Alien’ Season 2, Part 2 Gets October UK Premiere On Sky Max

Resident Alien returns to the UK this October for part two of Season 2 on Sky Max the broadcaster has announced.

Based on the Dark Horse comic from Peter Hogan and Stephen Parkhouse, ‘Resident Alien’ follows Harry, an alien played by Alan Tudyk, that crash lands on Earth and passes himself off as a small-town human doctor. Arriving with a secret mission to kill all humans, Harry starts off living a simple life… but things get a bit rocky when he’s roped into solving a local murder and realizes he needs to assimilate into his new world. As he does so, he begins to wrestle with the moral dilemma of his mission and asking the big life questions like: “Are human beings worth saving?” and “Why do they fold their pizza before eating it?”

To recap where we left things, season two began with Harry once again stranded on Earth where he must confront the consequences of having failed his people’s mission to destroy the human race. On his new quest to protect the people of Earth, Harry struggled to hold on to his alien identity as his human emotions grew stronger by the day.

When we left Harry, he had just been informed… via a telepathic link to the alien baby… hatched from the alien egg he took from the fossilised corpse of fellow alien “Goliath”… that their people are not actually trying to kill everyone, but rather to prevent another alien race trying to take over Earth. Unfortunately, the link is broken when Harry is shot by a mysterious man who had shady dealing with the original Harry!

‘Resident Alien’ stars Alan Tudyk (‘Rogue One’, ‘Firefly’), Sara Tomko (‘Once Upon A Time’), Corey Reynolds (‘The Closer’), Alice Wetterlund (‘People of Earth’), Elizabeth Bowen (‘Upload’), Judah Prehn (‘Kinderwood’), and Levi Fiehler (‘Mars’).

The series was adapted to television by executive producer Chris Sheridan (‘Family Guy’). Mike Richardson (‘Hellboy’) and Keith Goldberg (‘The Legend of Tarzan’) of Dark Horse Entertainment are also executive producers, along with Justin Falvey and Darryl Frank of Amblin TV. Robbie Duncan McNeill executive produced and is producing director. UCP, a division of Universal Studio Group, produce the comedy in association with Amblin TV and Dark Horse Entertainment.

Resident Alien‘ Season 2 premieres Thursday, 13th October 2022 at 9pm on Sky Max.
