After a brief unexpected hiatus last week, we are back with a new episode of the Geektown Radio podcast, and Matt from Entertainment Talk returns to the co-host chair to chat through and review the last seven days on UK TV, film, and gaming, alongside the usual TV news and UK TV air dates.
As we’ve been off for a week, there is lots to talk about in tv, film and gaming! Matt begins by reviewing the Netflix series ‘Cyberpunk: Edgerunners’, and the new DCEU film ‘Black Adam’… One of which he likes a lot more than the other! He also discusses the ‘Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2’ campaign mode, and the latest season of ‘Harley Quinn’. Meanwhile, I chat through new Prime Video drama ‘The Peripheral’, and discuss Jodie Whittaker’s final outing in ‘Doctor Who’. We also both chat through the wonderfully bonkers conclusion to ‘She-Hulk’.
Over in the TV news, we chat through all the renewals, cancellations and pick-ups, including ‘Reginald the Vampire’ getting a UK home, ‘What We Do In The Shadows’ finally returning to the UK, and ‘Warrior Nun’ back on Netflix. We have news of the ‘Outlander’ doubling in size, Julianne Moore heading to Sky for a new historical drama, and some possible MCU casting. All this and a whole lot more! Listen below!
