‘S.W.A.T.’ Season 6 & ‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ Season 14 Get January UK Premiere Date On Sky Max
Sky Max has set a UK premiere date for ‘S.W.A.T.‘ Season 6 & ‘NCIS: Los Angeles‘ Season 14, both returning this January on the broadcaster.
Inspired by the television series and the feature film, ‘S.W.A.T.’ stars Shemar Moore as a former Marine and locally born and raised S.W.A.T. sergeant, tasked to run a specialized tactical unit that is the last stop in law enforcement in Los Angeles. Torn between loyalty to where he was raised and allegiance to his brothers in blue, Daniel “Hondo” Harrelson strives to bridge the divide between his two worlds and acclimate to his new duties as the legal guardian of a teenager.
In the season six opener (brilliantly titled “Thai Hard”…) during a trip to Bangkok to train alongside Thailand’s premiere S.W.A.T. team, Hondo and his former military buddy Joe stumble upon a wide-ranging heroin operation with ties to Los Angeles and find themselves on the run from a powerful drug kingpin.
Alongside Moore, the series stars Alex Russell (Jim Street), Kenny Johnson (Dominique Luca), Jay Harrington (David Kay), David Lim (Victor Tan), Patrick St. Esprit (Robert Hicks), and Rochelle Aytes (Nichelle Carmichael).
‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ is a drama about the high-stakes world of a division of NCIS that is charged with apprehending dangerous and elusive criminals, who pose a threat to the nation’s security. By assuming false identities and utilizing the most advanced technology, this team of highly trained agents goes deep undercover, putting their lives on the line in the field to bring down their targets.
Season fourteen begins with an episode titled “Game of Drones”, and finds NCIS searching for a suspect – and the motive – after the bombing of a facility where military combat drones are built. The series stars Chris O’Donnell, LL Cool J, Daniela Ruah, Eric Christian Olsen, Medalion Rahimi, and Gerald McRaney.
‘S.W.A.T.‘ Season 6 kicks things off on Sunday, 22nd January 2023 at 9pm, followed by ‘NCIS: LA‘ Season 14 at 10pm on Sky Max and streaming service NOW.
