Game makers have certainly been keeping gamers on their toes with a range of new releases, with some superior products managing to stand out this year already. Let’s take a look at the best of them from a variety of categories.

Street Fighter 6 is an undoubted success story

A highly anticipated release, it’s fair to say that Street Fighter 6 is a modern-gen that went down well with the loyal community of gamers who adore the franchise. The Capcom fighter offers the same characteristics as the classic Street Fighter games of old, with its modern-day facelift resulting in an undoubted success story. Probably the cleanest and prettiest Street Fighter release yet, Capcom have nailed Street Fighter 6, making it game you simply have to sample.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is a highlight

The iconic Zelda games are back with a new instalment that has managed to wow the millions of people who adore it. Gamers enjoy the new flying aspect that has been added to the game, the option of rewinding time is an excellent inclusion, and you can even attach mushrooms to your sword. The best games at McLuck have been shining

Browser games are popular right now, particularly given the array of sites that house a huge selection of enticing gaming products. One of them is certainly McLuck, with the best games at McLuck appealing to gamers around the world at the moment. In July, titles like More Magic Apple and Beellionaires hogged the limelight, while Lucky Lightning and Wolf Saga pulled in gaming audiences in June. Resident Evil 4 Remake is excellent

As far as remakes go, Resident Evil 4 Remake is excellent. Despite the original product, Resident Evil 4, also recording success and being adored by gamers everywhere, the latest version of the game arguably goes one step further. In Resident Evil 4 Remake, the refinement on offer results in a perfect gaming escapade that leaves players firmly on the edge of their seats. It’s still tense, it’s still horrifying, and Capcom is still capable of cleaning up a game beautifully. The whole experience on offer through Resident Evil 4 Remake is memorable, particularly given the more modern feel it exudes. It’s excellent.

Honkai: Star Rail is a favourite on mobile

On mobile, Honkai: Star Rail has to be up there in terms of being one of the best releases of the year. A role-playing gacha video game developed by miHoYo, it offers glorious visuals as gamers experience the galaxy’s infinite wonders and embark on a series of unforgettable journeys. There is a lot to get stuck into in Honkai: Star Rail, particularly for a smartphone release. It’s amazingly detailed.
