The BBC has announced another huge drama returning drama for January, as they set a premiere date for ‘Silent Witness‘ Season 27.
‘Silent Witness’ follows Dr Nikki Alexander (Emilia Fox) and her team of forensic pathologists as they delve into solving various criminal cases. The cases that end up at The Lyell Centre are rarely straightforward. Initial suspicions are challenged as the evidence mounts, and Nikki and the team must work harder than ever to find the truth.
In the opening episode of the new season, titled “Effective Range”, a new murder victim forces the team to consider whether a notorious serial killer has resurfaced after 20 years, or if they are dealing with a copycat.
Returning cast this year includes Emilia Fox as Nikki Alexander and David Caves as Jack Hodgson, alongside Alastair Michael as Velvy Schur, Aki Omoshaybi as Dr Gabriel Folukoya, and Rhiannon May as Cara Connelly.Silent Witness is a BBC Studios production for BBC One and iPlayer.
