Detective Axel Foley (Eddie Murphy) is back on the beat in Beverly Hills as Netflix releases a trailer for ‘Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F’, streaming onto the service in Summer 2024.
After Foley’s daughter’s life is threatened, she (Taylour Paige) and her dad team up with a new partner (Joseph Gordon-Levitt), alongside old pals Billy Rosewood (Judge Reinhold) and John Taggart (John Ashton), to turn up the heat and uncover a conspiracy.
This is the fourth movie in the ‘Beverly Hills Cop’ franchise, which originally launched in 1984, and became the highest-grossing domestic release of that year, grossing $234 million at the U.S. box office. It was followed by ‘Beverly Hills Cop II’ in 1987 and ‘Beverly Hills Cop III’ in 1994.
The film comes from Producers Jerry Bruckheimer, Eddie Murphy, and Chad Oman. It is directed by Mark Molloy with a script from Will Beall (Aquaman, Zack Snyder’s Justice League), Tom Gormican (The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent, Ghosted) and Kevin Etten (The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent, Desperate Housewives).
‘Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F’ will premiere exclusively on Netflix in Summer 2024.
