by Dave Elliott

Sky Witness has set a March UK premiere date for ‘FBI Season 6,FBI: Most WantedSeason 5, and ‘FBI: International, Season 3.

‘FBI’ is a fast-paced drama about the inner workings of the New York office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. This elite unit brings to bear all their talents, intellect and technical expertise on major cases in order to keep New York and the country safe.

As we return for Season 6, when a bus explosion kills several innocent people, the team jumps into action to take down the responsible terrorist organization. Meanwhile, Scola (John Boyd) tries to balance fatherhood with the job.

‘FBI: Most Wanted’ is a high-stakes drama that focuses on the Fugitive Task Force, an elite unit that relentlessly pursues and captures the notorious criminals on the Bureau’s Most Wanted list.

As Season 5 begins, a mysterious deal goes south and leaves behind multiple dead bodies. The Fugitive Task Force head to Virginia to put the pieces together, while Remy (Dylan McDermott) continues to grapple with the aftermath of connecting with his long-lost nephew.

‘FBI: International’ is the third iteration of the successful FBI brand that follows the elite operatives of the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s International Fly Team. Headquartered in Budapest, they travel the world to track and neutralise threats against American citizens wherever they may be, putting their lives on the line to protect the U.S.

Returning for Season 3, and joined by a new intel analyst, Special Agent Amanda Tate (Christina Wolfe), The Fly Team continue their mission of neutralizing threats against US citizens across Europe. As the new series begins, the team works to clean up the pieces left behind after a massive explosion rocks their headquarters, with the key suspect managing to slip away.

All three shows come from Emmy Award winner Dick Wolf and the team behind the ‘Law & Order’ and ‘Chicago’ franchises. They are produced by Wolf Entertainment and Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group, in association with CBS Studios.

Side note – For those of you thinking “These have come back much earlier than normal in the UK,” you a correct. This is due to the writer/actor strikes last year shortening the length of almost all TV show seasons. So Sky has fewer episodes to fill the same amount of broadcast time, and that has resulted in things being moved around to plug holes in the schedule. And if you’re wondering about the “other” Dick Wolf franchise, the ‘Chicagos’ are currently pencilled in to return in April 2024.

FBI‘ Season 6 kicks things off, premiering Thursday 21st March 2024 at 9pm on Sky Witness, followed by ‘FBI: International‘ Season 3 at 10pm. ‘FBI: Most Wanted‘ Season 4 premieres the following week but on the new day of Tuesday 26th March 2024 at 9pm on Sky Witness.

NOTE: Before anyone says anything, whilst ‘Most Wanted’ is technically running the week after the other two shows, it is still airing BEFORE ‘FBI’ and ‘International’ air their second episodes, so is in the correct order.
