As we head into (looks outside at the pouring rain)… Summer?.. Disney+ UK has a number of new and returning series to help entertain you between BBQs (and dodging downpours.) ‘The Bear’ is back for more culinary flair, whilst ‘Becoming Karl Lagerfeld’ brings some fashion flair. We also dive into Star Wars’ High Republic for the first time in live-action with ‘The Acolyte’, there is the return of ‘Criminal Minds: Evolution’, and lots more! Here is what’s coming to Disney+ in June 2024.

FX’s Clipped – 5th June 2024 (Drama Series)

Clipped takes you behind the scenes of a notorious NBA owner’s racist remarks, captured on a tape heard around the world. Based on the hit ESPN 30 for 30 podcast The Sterling Affairs, this limited series charts the collision between a dysfunctional basketball organization and even less functional marriage, and the precipitating tape’s impact on an ensemble of characters striving to win against the backdrop of the most cursed team in the league.

Star Wars: The Acolyte – 5th June 2024 (Weekly Series)

In “The Acolyte,” an investigation into a shocking crime spree pits a respected Jedi Master (Lee Jung-Jae) against a dangerous warrior from his past (Amandla Stenberg). As more clues emerge, they travel down a dark path where sinister forces reveal all is not what it seems…

Becoming Karl Lagerfeld – 7th June 2024 (Limited Series Boxset)

FX’s critically acclaimed series The Bear is about food, family and the insanity of the grind. It’s a losing battle every day in the restaurant business, and as Carmy pushes himself harder than ever and demands excellence from his crew, they do their best to match his intensity. Their quest for culinary excellence propels them to new levels and stresses the bonds that hold the restaurant together.

Big City Greens the Movie: Spacecation – 7th June 2024 (Film)

The Greens are leaving the big city and the country behind! Big City Greens is going on a Spacecation! When thrill-seeker Cricket tricks his family into taking a “road trip” in space, chaos in the cosmos quickly ensues! Despite growing frustrations between Cricket and his dad, Bill, the two must learn to appreciate each other’s unique perspectives in order to prevent Big City from being destroyed by an interstellar disaster.

Marvel’s Spidey And His Amazing Friends, Season 3 – 12th June 2024 (Animated Series)

The first full-length Marvel series for preschoolers, “Marvel’s Spidey and his Amazing Friends” follows the adventures of Peter Parker, Gwen Stacy and Miles Morales as they team up with Iron Man, Hulk, Ms. Marvel and Black Panther to defeat foes like Rhino, Doc Ock and Green Goblin and learn that teamwork is the best way to save the day. Season four of the hit series will once again introduce even more new heroes and baddies for the Spidey team to interact with and be part of their adventures.

Under The Bridge – 12th June 2024 (Limited Series Boxset)

“Under the Bridge” is based on acclaimed author Rebecca Godfrey’s book about the 1997 true story of fourteen-year-old Reena Virk (Vritika Gupta) who went to join friends at a party and never returned home. Through the eyes of Godfrey (Riley Keough) and a local police officer (Lily Gladstone), the series takes us into the hidden world of the young girls accused of the murder — revealing startling truths about the unlikely killer.

We Were the Lucky Ones – 19th June 2024 (Limited Series Boxset)

Based on Georgia Hunter’s New York Times bestselling novel, the television adaptation of “We Were the Lucky Ones” is a limited series inspired by the incredible true story of one Jewish family separated at the start of WWII. The series follows them across continents as they do everything in their power to survive, and to reunite.

Criminal Minds: Evolution, Season 2 (or 17) – 14th June 2024 (Weekly Series)

In the wake of last season’s shocking finale, the upcoming all-new season of “Criminal Minds: Evolution” picks up as the FBI’s elite team of profilers investigates the deadly mystery of GOLD STAR. As the conspiracy unfolds, the Behavioral Analysis Unit (BAU) is met with an unexpected complication when serial killer Elias Voit negotiates a deal that transfers him to federal custody in the BAU’s own backyard. The team faces its biggest threat yet and cannot emerge unscathed from the mind-bending consequences.

Lucrecia: A Murder In Madrid – 27th June 2024 (Docuseries)

“Lucrecia: A Murder in Madrid” tells the real-life story of the shooting of a foreign, Black woman in the ruins of a nightclub in Madrid in 1992 and how it shocked Spanish society, provoking an unprecedented social reaction.
