Sky has set an August UK premiere date for The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon Season 1, which will be closely followed by Season 2, simulcast with the USA.

In the first season, The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, follows Dixon’s (Norman Reedus) departure from The Commonwealth as he washes ashore in France, struggling to piece together how he got there and why. The series tracks his journey across a broken but resilient France as he hopes to find a way back home.

In the opening episode, Daryl’s unexpected arrival sets off a violent chain of events that inadvertently puts a young boy at the heart of a growing religious movement in danger; Daryl agrees to help shepherd the boy to safety in exchange for help returning to America.

In addition to Reedus, the series stars Clémence Poésy, Adam Nagaitis, Anne Charrier, Eriq Ebouaney, Laika Blanc Francard, Romain Levi and Louis Puech Scigliuzzi.

The second season, which will be simulcast in the UK with the USA airing on AMC, sees Daryl reunited with his best pal and fan favourite Carol Peletier, played by Melissa McBride.

The series is executive produced by Scott M. Gimple, Showrunner David Zabel, Reedus, Greg Nicotero, Angela Kang, Brian Bockrath, Jason Richman and Daniel Percival.

The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon‘ Season 1 premieres Thursday, 1st August 2024 at 9pm on Sky Max & NOW, with all episodes on demand. Season 2 will premiere at 2am on Monday, 30th September 2024 (and will likely be repeated in primetime) on Sky Max and NOW. Season 2 premieres Sunday, Sept. 29, at 9/8c on AMC & AMC+ in the USA.
