As we head into August, it’s a slightly quieter month at Disney+ UK, but there are still a few big names to pop up! We have more ‘Murders In The Building’ and animated alien insanity, plus a new season of Star Wars fare to help indoctrinate the younger members of your family. KINGDOM OF THE PLANET OF THE APES – 2nd August 2024 (Movie)

Join Zed, Addison, Willa and the rest of their friends in a series of shorts that are jam-packed with music, adventure, fun, and…a carnivorous plant monster?! Will they get trapped in a never-ending summertime loop and try to sing their way out? Probably! Will they face off against a horrifying mega-cricket??? Again, probably!
ARE YOU SURE?! – 8th August 2024 (TV Series)
Filmed in 2023, Are You Sure?! follows BTS megastars Jimin and Jung Kook as they traverse three scenic locations around the world: New York state, USA; Jeju Island, South Korea; and Sapporo, Japan. From a summery ocean to a snowy ski resort and more, the show captures beautiful sceneries amid different seasons. The eight-part series will take viewers on a fun-filled journey with Jimin and Jung Kook as they eat, shop, cook, camp, canoe, swim and road trip together.
SOLAR OPPOSITES, Season 5 – 12th August 2024 (TV Series)

Set 200 years before “The Phantom Menace,” during the High Republic era, “Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures” follows Jedi younglings Kai Brightstar, Lys Solay, and Nubs as they study the ways of the Force, explore the galaxy, help citizens and creatures in need and learn valuable skills needed to become Jedi along the way. In season four of “Only Murders in the Building”, our amateur podcasting trio wrestles with the shocking events at the end of season three surrounding Charles’ stunt double & friend Sazz Pataki. Questioning whether she or Charles was the intended victim, their investigation leads them all the way to Los Angeles where a Hollywood studio is readying a film about the Only Murders podcast. As Charles, Oliver & Mabel race back to New York, they embark on an even more epic journey — traversing their building’s courtyard to delve into the twisted lives of the Arconia’s West Tower residents.
