Disney+ has released the full official trailer for ‘Star Wars: Skeleton Crew‘, the upcoming new series starring Jude Law shepherding a group of kids who find themselves lost in a galaxy far far away…
Told through the perspective of four kids, ‘Skeleton Crew’ follows them as they make a mysterious discovery of an old spaceship on their seemingly safe home planet, then get lost in a strange and dangerous galaxy, crossing paths with the likes of Jod Na Nawood, a mysterious character played by Jude Law.
Law’s Jod Na Nawood is (despite rumours) apparently not a Jedi, but is described as a “force user” who is “someone who uses quick thinking, charm and conversation to get out of all sorts of scenarios.” He is joined by the aforementioned four kids – Ravi Cabot-Conyers who plays “Wim”, Kyriana Kratter as “KB”, Robert Timothy Smith as “Neel”, and Ryan Kiera Armstrong as “Fern”. The coming-of-age series also stars Tunde Adebimpe, Kerry Condon and Nick Frost, who voices the droid, SM 33.
The original live-action series was created by Jon Watts and Christopher Ford who serve as showrunner and exec producers. Watts also directs alongside David Lowery, the Daniels (Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert), Jake Schreier, Bryce Dallas Howard and Lee Isaac Chung. Executive producers are Ford, Watts, Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, Kathleen Kennedy and Colin Wilson.
‘Star Wars: Skeleton Crew‘ premieres Wednesday, 4th December 2024 on Disney+ UK.
