Disney+ UK has released a teaser for ‘Alien: Earth‘, the highly anticipated original series from creator Noah Hawley, based on the iconic movie franchise, which is set to land this Summer.
When a mysterious space vessel crash-lands on Earth, a young woman (Sydney Chandler) and a ragtag group of tactical soldiers make a fateful discovery that puts them face-to-face with the planet’s greatest threat.
“Alien: Earth” is set in 2120 (two years before the events of the 1979 film ‘Alien’) when five corporations – Prodigy, Weyland-Yutani, Lynch, Dynamic and Threshold – wield the power of nations, and proprietary advancements in technology provide the promise of a new tomorrow.
Led by Sydney Chandler (Don’t Worry Darling), the series showcases an expansive international cast, which includes Alex Lawther (The End of the F**ing World*), Timothy Olyphant (Justified), Essie Davis (Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries), Samuel Blenkin (Black Mirror), Babou Ceesay (Guerrilla), David Rysdahl (Fargo), Adrian Edmondson (The Young Ones), Adarsh Gourav (The White Tiger), Jonathan Ajayi (Noughts + Crosses), Erana James (The Wilds), Lily Newmark (Sex Education), Diêm Camille (The Flash), and Moe Bar-El (Tehran).
The series comes from visionary creator Noah Hawley, best known for his acclaimed work on Fargo, the groundbreaking Legion, and the long-running hit series Bones.
